John Brengle has handled consumer bankruptcies since he was first admitted to practice in 1979, and has been part of the firm of Kruger & Schwartz since 2005. He has represented consumers and creditors in Bankruptcy Court in New Albany, Louisville and Evansville, and has given numerous presentations about bankruptcy law to lawyers and to the general public.

Mr. Brengle is a Member in good standing of the bar in the states of Indiana and Kentucky, the Sixth and Seventh Circuits, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana, and the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky.

Mr. Brengle received his B.A. Degree from DePauw University and his Law Degree from the Indiana University School of Law.

Mr. Brengle is married with four children. His wife Nancy is a secondary education teacher in British Literature.
